Most bedcovers are dyed after the fabric is already woven — colour sitting on the surface, fading a little with every wash. Ours starts as dyed yarn, coloured before the knit is even built, so the colour runs through every fibre instead of resting on top of it.
The knit itself is engineered from long-staple Egyptian cotton, prized for fibre length that resists pilling and holds its shape wash after wash. At 300 GSM it carries enough weight to feel substantial through winter, yet stays light enough to fold down into a dohar once the season turns. It's a small detail in how the yarn is made. It's also the entire reason this bedcover costs what it costs.
