Most pillow fragrance is a finish — a spray, a sachet, something that fades by the third wash. Ours is knitted into the fabric at the fibre level, which is why it survives the wash cycle that kills the alternative. Sandalwood suits that construction better than most notes: it's a heavy molecule, slow to lift, so it stays put for longer than a floral would.
